Lip colour editing on photoshop

In order to make my model fit the theme of my magazine more, I edited the colour of the models lips to make them look more red.

To edit the photo I created a new layer and then I used the brush tool to colour her lips in red, to get this as precise as possible I zoomed in on her lips. When you do this it makes the lips look very coloured in so to make them look more natural I lowered the opacity and fill so that the colour became more transparent.
