What have you learned from audience feedback?
Audience response is necessary because I have to reach and please the audience and satisfy their various needs. The commercial nature of my product demands success in the market and to do that, I have to find out what the audience want. I have learned to use audience feedback in the research and planning stages because it allows me to tailor my products to my target audience. I continuously asked my target audience throughout the construction stage to ensure my target audience are happy with my products.

How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary tasks? Part 5
The combination of my main product and ancillary tasks is
effective because of the use of synergy. Throughout my tasks I have used the
same fonts, colours and actors. The theme of our music video calls for pastel
and muted colours, this is reflected in my ancillary task with pale violet
being my main feature colour.
Social media is the most effective way to advertise for my
music video. This is because of my target audience and their frequent use of
the internet and more specifically social media. The music video could also be
advertised on TV during a show that is popular with our target audience, for
example this could be a show like holly oaks.
The website link on my main product and ancillary tasks give
the audience a sense of ownership. Through this link the audience can find out
more about the artist, more songs or music videos and behind the scenes
footage.
I have used various platforms to present my work, this is
because my target audience respond better to information that is presented in a
more visual way. My blog is online as this is easily accessible to my target
audience as stereotypically they are more inclined to use mobile phones or
computers.
During this process of creating my main product and ancillary
tasks I have advanced my skills in Photoshop, I have used effects such as
colour manipulation, saturation, drop shadow and cropping to edit my photos. I have
also advanced my skills with premier pro and when using hardware such as
cameras and tripods. I have learnt how to film shots that are pleasing to the
audience and effective in the narrative.

How did you use new media technologies in the contruction and research, planning and evaluation stages? Part 3
Georgia and I decided that to vary our filming methods that we should film a section on one of our mobile phones. We needed to refilm a section in the music video because it was too dark, so we decided to do this on Georgia's phone. We all met in a local car park and filmed the lip-syncing in the car and varied out angles and shot types as much as we could.

Changing my poster
After asking my target audience I have decided to change my poster. My target audience pointed out that the image looks like the model is cold and it is not as natural as they'd hope. They also said that they would like to see less editing and that the shape does not really go. I have took into consideration what they have said and I have decided to start my poster again, using a more natural image and less editing.

Editing my poster
For my poster I wanted to include a geometric shape in the background, to create this tool to draw two shapes and then fit them on top of each other.
I then changed the colour of the shapes and lowered the opacity by selecting the layer and then lowering this:
I then added in a background by just using the sky of the image, this is then what it looked like:
I then outlined the model from the whole image like this:

I then needed to cut out the model and put the image in front of the shape to do like I used the quick selection tool:
I then outlined the model from the whole image like this:
I then clicked on masks, then the first icon to the left and finally invert.
I then edited the edged of the image to make them look less harsh by going into mask edge and playing around with the sliders until I was happy with the image.
Finally I just added text and then found fonts that matched the theme then I was finished.
